Godminster Organic Vintage Cheddar
Godminster, a Slice of Somerset
Handmade from a 70 year old recipe, this cheese combines a rich heritage and tradition with rich flavours and ingredients. Within the glossy burgundy wax casing is a pure, white cheese. Crumbly and full of flavour but also wonderfully creamy and rich in both consistency and taste, this Vintage Cheddar is gentle and mild at first bite but grows to an exceptional depth with a smooth, lingering aftertaste.
Since 2000, Godminster has been perfecting their Award Winning Cheddar. Each wheel is aged for 14 months to achieve the ideal texture and consistency and is made with pastuerised cows milk from Somerset’s own farms. Godminster Cheddar is also proudly 100% Organic and suitable for Vegetarians.

A Cheese Loved the World Over
Godminster Cheddar won both a Silver Award at the International Cheese Awards 2014 and a Bronze Award at the Global Cheese Awards 2014. With dozens of Stockists across the UK, this exceptional cheese is finally available in Australia.
All Godminster Cheddar is 100% Organic and uses no preservatives and so should be kept refrigerated at all times.
In order to best preserve the cheese’s iconic creaminess it is recommended to leave the wax on.
To help fully bring out the flavours of this Cheddar, the cheese should be removed from the fridge for approximately 1 hour before serving, which allows it to warm to room temperature.
