Gorgonzola Dolce is one of the world’s oldest blue-veined cheeses. It uses unskimmed cow’s milk while preparing the cheese.  It’s mainly produced in the northern Italian regions of Piedmont and Lombardy, and generally takes three to four months to attain full ripeness. It has a crumbly and soft texture with nutty aromas. Gorgonzola may be eaten in many ways. Pasta with gorgonzola is a dish appreciated almost everywhere in Italy by gorgonzola lovers. It is frequently offered as pizza topping as well.
